Britney Spears Shoots For The Kenzo Campaign 2018

Britney Spears has one not really affectionate memory of the 1980s. “I used to wear huge bows over my head,” she says on the eve of the presentation of her first extravagance fashion event (it’s difficult to trust there’s something she hasn’t done). “I mean, ugly was the way to go in the ’80s, it was all just completely obnoxious—but there was also something so refreshing about that and the fact that we didn’t care what anyone thought about our clothes.”
When Spears was drawn closer by Kenzo’s design directors, Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, about turning into the face of the brand’s second wistfulness based La Collection Momento for Spring 2018 (a tribute to the introduction of Kenzo Jeans in 1986), she was energized by the possibility of bringing back that uproarious, down to business, ’80s state of mind.
